Vini Jr. has taken the prize as FIFA The Best Men's Player 2024, in a ceremony held in Doha. The Real Madrid forward was presented with the accolade following a superb season for Real Madrid that saw him win the Champions League, LaLiga and the Spanish Super Cup.
Vini Jr. played a key role in our team's successes, recording his highest-scoring campaign with 24 goals to his name. Among them was a strike against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final and a hat-trick against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup.
Vini Jr. has topped the voting by an international panel made up of the coaches and captains of the men's national teams, a specialist journalist representing each territory's national side, and fans around the world registered on FIFA.com. The award takes into account sporting performance and general conduct on and off the pitch, for the period between 21 August 2023 and 10 August 2024.
