The following Real Madrid players have been called up to represent their national teams at the Copa América, which is being played in the United States. Vini Jr, Rodrygo, Militão and Endrick (Brazil) and Valverde (Uruguay) will be battling it out to win the continental trophy.

Quarter-finals
Uruguay-Brazil (Sunday, 7 July, 3am)
Vini Jr, Rodrygo, Militão and Endrick finished the group phase in second place in Group D. They will meet Valverde's Uruguay in the quarter-finals.

Brazil drew 0-0 in their first match against Costa Rica. Vini Jr, Rodrygo, Militão started and Endrick came on in the 70th minute to replace Vini Jr. In the convincing win over Paraguay, Vini Jr, who again started together with Rodrygo and Militão, led his team scoring a brace. Endrick came on in the second half. They concluded the group stage with a draw against Colombia. All four Madrid players featured in the match.

Valverde has been called up for Uruguay, who are in Group C. His national team got off to a winning start against Panama at the Hard Rock Stadium (Miami), where the Madrid midfielder started the game and played 85 minutes. The midfielder then played a key role in the win over Bolivia, scoring the fourth goal in a match in which he again started and played 86 minutes. In the win against hosts USA, he played the whole game as they sealed their place in the quarter-finals as group winners.
