Vini Jr. took centre stage at the Globe Soccer Awards 2024. The Real Madrid striker was named best player and best striker of the year at the ceremony held in Dubai. The Brazilian was acknowledged after playing a leading role in the titles won by los blancos in 2024: the Champions League, LaLiga, the European Super Cup, the Spanish Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup.
"I'm delighted to be here and to collect this award surrounded by all these players. I have to thank Real Madrid, my teammates and the people who have worked with me so that I can be here, playing at the highest level," said the Madrid striker.
The Brazilian ended the year with 32 goals. In addition, he scored in three games that ended in titles for Real Madrid: he scored in the Champions League and Intercontinental Cup finals and scored a hat-trick against Barcelona in the final of the Spanish Super Cup.
“It was a great team performance and I hope we can keep playing like this," said the midfielder.
