Special training session to close the year

Real Madrid completed their last training session of 2024, and it was a very special one. The Whites swapped their usual pitches 1 and 2 at Real Madrid City for the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium, where the fans filled the stands to watch their idols. Ancelotti's players continued their preparations for the first game of 2025, in which they will face Valencia at Mestalla on Friday 3 January (9 pm CET).
The session got underway with a warm-up and then the players worked on ball circulation, finishing with shooting at goal. They then performed possession drills with intense pressure and concluded with a game on a small pitch, where the fans were delighted with the goals and the technical skills on show from the players. Alaba completed part of the session with the group. Meanwhile, Carvajal and Militão continued with their recovery programmes.

Sanitas presented the Real Madrid players and their coach, Carlo Ancelotti, with digital health cards. The event, which took place at Real Madrid City, was attended by Iñaki Peralta, CEO of Sanitas and Bupa Europe and Latin America.
As the official medical provider of Real Madrid, Sanitas provides the men's and women's football and basketball teams with access to its full medical team, specialised centres, diagnostic tests and digital medicine services through Blua, its digital health ecosystem. This includes access to video consultations, emergencies, online medical reports, remote monitoring and measuring of vital signs via facial image.
