Lucas Vázquez: "The collective work in defence and attack was very solid"

3 month(s)

Lucas Vázquez spoke to the media after Real Madrid's win against Girona at Montilivi: "Our game was very solid from start to finish. The team knew it was a great opportunity for us. We played a great game and we're very happy."
"Our teamwork, both in defence and attack, was very solid. The whole team did a great job. The 0-3 scoreline and keeping a clean sheet always gives you a plus. We're happy with the way the win turned out."
Good defensive performance
"The team knew how to hold on at the start of the first half. Girona started very well and we were able to weather the storm. I think the result is fair, we should be very satisfied with how we played, both in defence and attack. The team is on the up and up."
Analysis of the match
"At the beginning we struggled a bit. They have a good way of handling the ball between the lines. They made us hesitate a little bit, but with the help of Valverde and Arda Güler we did things very well and we solved the game".
Bellingham
"We are not surprised. Bellingham. He is a very important player for us. In the last few games, in addition to his work, he's been getting the numbers. We are very happy that he scores, assists, defends... He does everything".
Atalanta
"We want to go there to win. It's a difficult and important game and we're going to do our best to get the three points.
