Carvajal, Rüdiger, Kroos, Bellingham and Vini Jr. have all been named in The Best FIFA Men's XI 2024, as revealed in an online ceremony broadcast by FIFA from Doha. The five madridistas were selected for the team following their successes between 21 August 2023 and 10 August 2024, both inclusive. The line-up is completed by Emiliano Martínez, Ruben Días, Saliba, Rodri, Lamine Yamal and Haaland.
In this period, Real Madrid won the Champions League, LaLiga and the Spanish Super Cup. Meanwhile, the Spanish National Team got their hands on the Euros, with Carvajal in their ranks. The team was voted for by an international panel of FIFA football experts, and the fans who registered to vote on FIFA.com.
