League leaders prepare for Madrid derby

After the victory at Butarque that booked their place in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey, the LaLiga leaders trained at Real Madrid City and began preparations for Saturday's Madrid derby. Ancelotti's take on Atlético at the Santiago Bernabéu on matchday 23 (Saturday, 9 pm CET).
Those who started the cup match did recovery work both indoors and on the pitch. The rest of the squad performed ball-retention drills, possession and pressing exercises and attacking versus defensive work before playing a game on a reduced pitch. Rüdiger and Alaba continued with their recovery programmes.
