The VIP box at the Santiago Bernabéu hosted the premiere of 'Courtois, la vuelta del número 1', a documentary series that chronicles the Real Madrid goalkeeper's recovery process from the two serious knee injuries he suffered last season. Courtois was accompanied at the event by several of his teammates and by Real Madrid's Director of Institutional Relations, Emilio Butragueño.

The series comprises four episodes and will be available on Prime Video from 20 September. Courtois suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on 10 August 2023. From there, he began a recovery process that was interrupted on 19 March, when he suffered a torn inner meniscus in his right knee. After overcoming both injuries, he returned to play on 4 May against Cádiz, the day Real Madrid won their 36th LaLiga title. A month later, he started the final at Wembley, lifted the Decimoquinta and added the finishing touch to his story of overcoming his injuries.
