Real Madrid to discover Club World Cup 2025 Group Stage rivals on thursday

This Thursday from 7:00pm, Real Madrid will find out their three opponents in the Group Stage of this year's Club World Cup, set to be played in the United States from June 15 to July 13. The draw will be held in Miami, home to the competition's opening game at the Hard Rock Stadium. Our team, reigning European champions, have been drawn in Pot 1.
The 32 teams involved will be split into eight groups of four. There will be no more than one team per Confederation in each group, except in the case of UEFA, who will have four representatives in two of the groups. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the Round of 16, which will be played as a direct knockout without extra-time. Any ties that are level after 90 minutes will go straight to a penalty shootout.

Pot 1: Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, PSG, Flamengo, Palmeiras, River Plate and Fluminense.
Pot 2: Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Inter, Porto, Atlético, Benfica, Juventus and Salzburg.
Pot 3: Al Hilal, Ulsan, Al Ahly, Wydad, Monterrey, Club León, Boca Juniors and Botafogo.
Pot 4: Urawa Red Diamonds, Al Ain, Espérance Sportive de Tunisie, Mamelodi Sundowns, Pachuca, Seattle Sounders, Auckland City and Inter Miami.
