It's the next challenge for the Madrid team, who come into the game having beaten Girona ( is the return of Vini Jr. Our team's top scorer (12 goals) is back following injury and will be hoping to add to his Champions League tally (4, including a stunning hat-trick against Borussia Dortmund). He'll be joined by Bellingham, who has been on target in five of the last six games.

Real Madrid and Atalanta have faced each other on three occasions, with our boys winning every clash. Last time came in the European Super Cup held in Warsaw (2-0). Mbappé made his madridista debut in that match, and went on to get his name on the scoresheet too. The other two games came in the Champions League Round of 16 in 2020/21 (0-1 and 3-1).

Atalanta
The Bergamo-based outfit are also having a fine start to their Italian league campaign. They beat Milan in their last game to go top of the table thanks to goals for De Ketelaere and Lookman. The two players sit alongside Retegui as their top scorers in the Champions League with two goals apiece.
