1 month(s)

Real Madrid Castilla earned a point away to Atlético Sanluqueño on Primera Federación matchday five. The reserve team cancelled out Carbonell's early goal (‘13) with a goal from Loren Zúñiga (’35). After the break, Víctor Muñoz made it 2-1, but V. Valverde restored parity in the 61st minute. Raúl's side have picked up points in their last three games.
The home side's first shot on target turned out to be the first goal of the match. Our team tried to react immediately afterwards, but Campos was left without a shooting angle from inside the area. Raúl's team were insistently looking for space after the Sanlúcar side had dropped back after the goal. As a result, the equaliser came. A great move by Gonzalo, who put in a cross from the right to the far post for Loren Zúñiga to equalise before the break.
After the restart, the Whites managed to turn the result around with a long and low shot by Víctor Muñoz. Shortly after, the rival goalkeeper prevented the third with a great save from Gonzalo's powerful shot. Our team could have put some distance on the scoreboard, but the locals brought the score back to level terms through V. Valverde. From then on, the game opened up. In a matter of minutes, Fran González made two good saves and the home defence saved Chema's shot from a corner. Ultimately, the scoreline remained unchanged.
