Carvajal: "It's a fundamental win before our international matches"

Dani Carvajal was Real Madrid's captain in Pamplona. The full-back scored the goal that made it 2-1 against Osasuna, his fifth goal of the season. After the match, he said on Realmadrid TV: "We were the first in the table to play and also away from home. This is a fundamental win before our international matches. The team got the job done with a great game and we have achieved a wide margin to go into the break."
"We were able to read our opponents. They left a lot of space at the back, in several combinations we got into the box and managed to create chances."

His goal against Osasuna
"I got into the box, Fede set me up and I put it in with the outside of my boot. I tried to wrong-foot Herrera and it worked."

Offensive streak
"This year I'm getting them, I'm happy and hopefully I'll continue with this streak at the end of the season to help the team reach our objectives."

Great game from Vini Jr.
"He was sublime, he did everything well, scoring goals and creating chances. He went got away from the opposition, dropped when he had to and he played a fantastic game. I want to congratulate him and I hope he keeps it up. I hope he's not like that in the next Spain-Brazil game, because I'll have to stop him."

Celebration
"I usually kiss the tattoo on my forearm when I score because it's my wife's initials, which are the same as mine. Another goal that I dedicate to her."
