Ancelotti: "I'm very happy to win here and for having played so well"

Carlo Ancelotti appeared before the media in the press room at El Sadar after Real Madrid's win against Osasuna, the Italian's 200th as coach of our team. The coach said: "I'm very proud of all these victories, I'm very happy to win here and to have played so well. These are three very important points to move us ahead in the table. We go into the international break better than ever."

Vini Jr.'s form
"He's a decisive player because of what he's contributing at the moment. He's scored two goals today and he scored in the previous ones too. He could have scored more, he was effective in every play he made. He has to control the pressure he's under because of the atmosphere a little bit more."

"I congratulated Vini Jr. because he played an extraordinary game. He read every play very well and he moved very well without the ball. This is where he has improved the most. With the ball he is always effective and without the ball at the moment he's been spectacular. He's very quick and moves with good timing."

Lunin and the return of Courtois
"He's doing very well. We've discovered a goalkeeper who gives us confidence, he's very solid. We'll see when Courtois comes back because he's had a serious injury and we have to be careful. The same with Militão, we are not in a hurry."

Brahim's position
"He's an attacking player but he can cover all positions very well. Today he played on the centre-left and combined well with Vini. The strength of this striker is that he has a lot of mobility. It's difficult for the opposition to pick up on what we're doing because it changes things a lot if Rodrygo plays on the right. It gives us a lot of options up front."

Güler's shot against the crossbar
"Only great talent can see a play like that, which he is and it doesn't matter that he didn't score, for us it's a goal."

His dialogue with Vini Jr.
"He's a very dangerous player and everyone realises that. The rival fans boo him and the rivals kick him, although today it was all correct and within the rules. He can and will improve in this respect because he is a humble, serious and intelligent player."
